FAQs
-
Just two days. Seriously. Day 1 is all about prep, priming, and setting up containment. Day 2 is when the magic happens — we spray, cure, and reassemble your cabinets. You’ll have your kitchen back faster than your neighbor can finish their backsplash tile.
-
Yep — just like moving, only way less stressful. We’ll send you a checklist before your job to make it easy. Drawers and doors come off, and we need access to all cabinet surfaces. It’s the perfect excuse to toss that Tupperware lid with no bottom.
-
We use high-performance, cabinet-grade coatings — not wall paint. Our finishes are designed to hold up to daily use, kitchen messes, and even toddler fingerprints. And yes, they’re sprayed professionally for a smooth, factory finish.
-
Absolutely. We offer a curated SwiftCoat Color Book to make your choice simple — but if you’ve got a color in mind (or a Pinterest board you’ve been secretly curating for years), we can match it.
-
Yes, and we love them. Think navy lowers, white uppers, or a bold island with soft neutrals around it. Two-tone is one of the easiest ways to make your kitchen look like a designer did it. Just ask us about the upgrade.
-
Not on our watch. We seal off the kitchen with zip walls, use dustless sanding tools, and contain every part of the job. Most of our clients are shocked at how clean the process is. You’ll barely notice we were there (except for the jaw-dropping cabinets).
-
We can — but we’ll need to see them first. If the existing paint is peeling, cracking, or was applied poorly (hello, brush marks), we may recommend sanding down or stripping certain areas to ensure a clean, durable result. We’ll give you the honest truth — and a killer finish either way.
-
Yes — and we do it all the time. Oak cabinets have deep wood grain, but our team uses professional grain-filling and sanding techniques to minimize texture and create that smooth-as-glass finish you’re dreaming of. It takes skill, and we’ve got it. There will be attitional cost and time required to get that perfect SwiftCoat Finish.
-
In most cases, yes. Minor dings, scratches, and wear-and-tear are all part of the job. We’ll fill, sand, and prep your cabinets before spraying — so they look brand new when we’re done. If there’s major damage (like water swelling or broken doors), we’ll walk you through options at your quote appointment.
-
Not during the work — but don’t worry, we’ve got dinner covered.
Since we mask off your kitchen and remove all doors and drawers, you won’t be able to cook or access your space during the two-day process. But here’s the good news: We order pizza for you on Night 1 — our treat.
By the end of Day 2, your kitchen is back — doors on, hardware installed, and ready for a fresh home-cooked meal. -
We use low-odor, low-VOC materials, and our ventilation systems keep air clean and breathable. Most of our clients stay home during the process — especially if they have a second entrance or access to a patio. We’ll walk you through it based on your layout.
-
We do! If you want the full kitchen transformation, we can replace your countertops, install a new backsplash, and even help you choose new hardware. We’ll guide you through it and handle everything — no multiple contractors needed.
